Guides for voting, quizzes and assessment

Question lists with answers, explainers on assessment, and guides to voting and meetings. Each guide links to a free template or tool you can use straight away. Last updated 2026-10-11.

Start with the question list if you need material now. Each one groups its questions under headings, gives the answer beside every question, and links to a template that opens in the quiz editor with the questions already filled in. You can change any question before you share it or host it live with a PIN.

Start with the teaching guides if you are planning a unit or deciding how to check learning. They explain the difference between formative and summative assessment, how to write multiple choice questions with plausible wrong answers, and how to pick a question level with Bloom’s taxonomy. Where a guide describes a teaching or procedural rule, it names the source it relies on, and the claims are limited to what that source says.

Start with the voting and meeting guides if you run a club, association, HOA board or other group that votes. They cover quorum, the difference between plurality, majority and supermajority, how ranked choice counts are carried out, and the steps of an election. These guides describe common procedure only. Your bylaws, charter and local law decide the rules that apply to your group, and nothing here is legal advice.
