Free tools for votes, quizzes and grades

Four small tools that do one job each, for the people who run votes, tests and classes. They run in your browser, need no account, and store nothing you type into them. Each one links to the Votense feature that goes with it, if you want to run the vote or quiz itself.

Which tool fits your job

Teachers and trainers most often need the quiz timer and the grading curve calculator. The timer keeps a room on time during a live quiz or a paper test, and the curve calculator shows what a change to the scale does to every student before you publish any marks.

Board members, homeowners’ association committees and club officers most often need the quorum calculator. It answers the question “do we have enough people to start, and enough votes to pass this?” from your member count, using the Robert’s Rules defaults that most bylaws start from.

Anyone running a vote with more than two options can use the ranked choice calculator. It takes the ballots as they were cast and shows each round of the count, including when ballots run out of choices and when a tie stops the count without a winner. Nothing is stored on a server, so a ballot you paste stays in your browser.

Each tool states its rules on its own page, with a worked example, so you can check the result against your own bylaws or grading policy. The tools calculate; they do not decide which rule applies to your vote or your class.
