Ask a question, add the options, and share the link. Voters need no account, each browser votes once, and the results page updates as the votes come in.

  • Up to 12 options, single or multiple choice
  • One vote per browser or per network — or unlimited
  • Results public and live, or shown only after voting
  • Kept for 90 days, then deleted

What you get

A link in under a minute

One question, two or more options, one button. The poll is live as soon as it is created — there is no draft state and nothing to publish.

Results that update themselves

The results page refreshes every few seconds while it is open, with a bar, a percentage and a count for each option and the leader highlighted. Put it on a shared screen and watch the vote come in.

One vote each, checked on the server

A second vote from the same browser is refused when it arrives and the voter is told their vote is already counted. The rule is not a cookie that can be cleared.

No tracking of voters

Voters are not asked for a name or an email. A vote records the option chosen, the time, the browser type and the page it was sent from; the one-vote rule stores only a one-way hash, kept separately from the votes.

When a quick poll is the wrong tool

A poll made here suits a decision that is low-stakes and short-lived: where to eat, which logo, what time to meet. It is deliberately simple, and that simplicity has limits worth knowing before you rely on it.

It is not a secure ballot. One vote per browser stops accidental and casual repeat voting, but someone with a second browser or device can vote again. For anything binding — a board vote, an election, a prize draw — create the poll from an account and require voters to sign in, so each account votes once.

It also cannot be changed. If you may need to fix a typo, add an option, close the vote early or see individual answers, those all need an owner — which means an account. The free plan covers them.

Poll maker questions

Is the poll maker really free, with no account?
Yes. You type a question and up to 12 options, press Create, and get a voting link and a results link. There is no sign-up, no email address and no card.
How do you prevent duplicate votes?
By default each browser can vote once. The check happens on our server when the vote arrives, so reloading the page or pressing Vote repeatedly does not add votes. You can switch to one vote per network, which is stricter but treats everyone sharing an office or campus connection as one voter, or allow unlimited votes.
Can I edit or delete a poll after creating it?
Not a poll made here. With no account there is no owner to sign in as, so it cannot be changed, and it is removed automatically after 90 days. If you need to edit, close or delete a poll yourself, create it from a free account instead.
How long does a poll last?
90 days from creation, after which the poll and its votes are deleted. Polls created in an account stay until you delete them.
Can voters see the results?
You choose when you create it: results visible to everyone and updating live, or shown to a person only after they have voted. Either way the results page shows totals and percentages, never who voted for what.
Is there a limit on how many polls I can create?
Up to 20 polls an hour from one network without an account. Each new poll also passes an automatic bot check, which for almost everyone is invisible.
What can I do with an account that I cannot do here?
Add more questions and other question types such as ranking, matrix and NPS; set an opening and closing time; require sign-in to vote; see who answered what; export votes as CSV; embed the poll on your website; and keep everything in a dashboard.
