Votense vs Qualtrics

Qualtrics is an enterprise experience-management platform sold on request, with pricing tailored to the programme. Votense is a self-serve survey and poll tool with a published price. If you need a survey this week, not a platform this quarter, this comparison is for you.

Pricing: Votense vs Qualtrics

Qualtrics pricing below was read from their own pricing page on 2026-10-03. Prices change without notice, so treat this as a snapshot and check their page before deciding.

Votense

PlanPriceLimits
FreeFree10 surveys, 100 responses per survey
Basic$20/month100 surveys, 2000 responses per survey
Advanced$40/month200 surveys, 5000 responses per survey, 3 seats

Response limits are per survey for the life of the survey, not per month. Every survey question type, live results, voting limits, scheduling, webhooks, Telegram delivery, embedding, CSV export and bot protection are on the free plan — every public survey is checked for automated submissions the same way, free or paid; file uploads, password protection, email notifications, your own logo, connected apps (Slack, Discord, Teams, Google Chat, Airtable, Notion), and keeping a submission that fails the bot check for review instead of refusing it are on the paid plans.

Qualtrics pricing page

One price for the whole team: Basic is $20 a month flat, not per person.

Billed annually it is $200 a year — $16.67 a month, 17% less than paying monthly. Advanced is $40 a month, or $33.33 a month billed annually.

Basic covers 3 organizations of 2 seats each — 6 seats, which is up to 4 people once you count that you hold a seat in each organization you own. Advanced raises that to 15 seats across 5 organizations, up to 11 people.

Adding someone does not change the bill: the price is the plan, not the head count. Whether that beats a given rival depends on how they charge for seats — check their pricing page, which every comparison here links to, rather than a claim on this one.

When Qualtrics is the better choice

Every comparison should have this section. If it does not, you are reading an advert.

You are running an experience-management programme

Organisation-wide customer or employee programmes, role-based dashboards, closed-loop follow-up and advanced analytics are what Qualtrics is for. Votense is not a substitute for that.

You need enterprise controls

SSO, enterprise procurement and the related security reviews are Qualtrics territory. Votense signs in with Google or GitHub.

When Votense is the better choice

You can see the price before you start

Free covers 10 surveys or polls, 100 responses each. Basic is $20 a month and Advanced $40, flat per account, cancel any time.

The research questions are all there

Matrix grids, ranking, NPS, Likert and constant-sum questions, conditional logic and scheduling — the building blocks of most research surveys — are on the free plan.

Results people can watch

Every poll and survey has a public results page that refreshes itself every few seconds. You choose who may open it — everyone, people who have voted, everyone once voting closes, or only you — and written answers are never shown on it.

Moving from Qualtrics

Start from a research template

Market research, product-market fit and feature-prioritization templates include screening logic, ranking and point allocation.

Plan the analysis outside the tool

Votense charts each question and exports CSV. Cross-tabs and statistics move to a spreadsheet or a statistics package.

Questions people ask

Is there a cheaper alternative to Qualtrics?

For self-serve surveys, yes. Votense publishes its prices — free, then $20 or $40 a month — while Qualtrics prices on request (checked 2026-10-03).

Does Votense do everything Qualtrics does?

No. It covers the survey itself — question types, logic, scheduling, live results — but not enterprise XM programmes, advanced statistics, text analytics or SSO.

Checked against the shipped product on 2026-10-03. The Votense limits above come from the same plan table the product enforces, not marketing rounding. What this page says about Qualtrics is limited to what they publish; their prices are a snapshot from their own pricing page on 2026-10-03, and where we were not sure of a feature we say to check their documentation rather than guess.
